Honorable Leadership

Lead With Honor!

Leadership=RC3

Leadership = RC3 is the leadership model practiced and recommended by Honorable Leadership. This model breaks down leadership into several components that include Responsibility, Courage, Credibility and Commitment.

As practiced by Honorable Leadership, RC3 unifies an organization and team by solidly unraveling what an organization really expects from its leaders.

To a 17th century alchemist, the symbol containing a circle, square and triangle represented a state of completeness. If you hope to reach your maximum potential you must become a complete leader and learn to excel in Responsibility, Courage, Credibility and Commitment.

Regardless if you are leading a group of two or three, thousands, or perhaps millions, mastery of these four cornerstones of leadership will allow you to achieve the results that you're aiming for. Follow the links in the alchemist's circle to discover how to can become a complete leader
Responsibility

  • To the Organization
  • To Others
  • To Yourself

  • Before you can be successful, you must understand what you are responsible for. This is easier said than done. Can you honestly answer the question, "What am I responsible for?" At work? At home? To others? To yourself? To be an effective leader, you must fully understand your responsibilities in each of these areas. Don't be fooled into thinking this is easy to do.

One of the greatest failures in many organizations occurs when they fail to help their members understand what they are responsible for after a promotion. There are critical differences between Supervising, Managing, Directing and being an Executive. Do you know what they are? Do those who work for you know what they are? Invite me to assist you and your leaders in understanding what they are responsible for.

    Courage

  • To Challenge
  • To Confront
  • To Lead
  • Of Character

  • The word "courage" is derived from the Latin root "cor", meaning heart. As hollywood bombards us with movies of heroism and daring feats, many of you think that heart and spirit can only be found in places like Tolkein's Middle Earth or in the far reaches of space where the battle against the Empire is raging.

That is far from the truth if you're a leader. While you may work in an office, there are plenty of opportunities to act with heart and spirit. You can be courageous in the workplace! Call me to find out how I can restore heart and spirit in your organization.

    Credibility

  • Technical
  • Managerial
  • Organizational

  • While working as a manager at an HMO many years ago, I witnessed something that I'll never forget. Having just gone through a merger, our new President held his first all hands meeting. During this meeting, he was asked about layoffs, and basically said, "Read my lips - there will be no layoffs!" The next day, as I walked into the office, I was greeted by one of my supervisors who was in tears. The company was giving about 10% of the employees their walking papers and were escorting them off the premises. Wow!

Unfortunately, based on many more years of experience, I can say that this is not necessarily the exception. What is credibility and do you have it? Understanding what others are expecting from you as a leader is key to gaining credibility. Are you doing what it takes to build credibility in your organization? How do you know? Invite me to assist you in determining if you and your leaders have credibility within your organization.

    Commitment

  • To Persevere
  • To Get Up
  • To Excellence

  • We all know what commitment is, but how do we go about instilling it in others, or often ourselves. Commitment begins with Passion, Focus, and Intention. Are you passionate about what you do? Are you focused? Are you intentional?

To be a committed leader you must have the Commitment to Persevere to keep going when the odds are against you. You must have the Commitment to Get-Up when you are knocked down and you must Commit to Growth to become the best you can be. Invite me to help you develop a growth plan for commitment.
