Amusement Park Inc. is a Participatory Training Exercise that will teach both new and seasonsed Project Managers the fundamentals of project management. During this two-day class, students will have the opportunity to work on a project in a team environment that will allow them to experience both best practices and the common mistakes that most project teams make.

Executive Summary

Project Management Associates has been awarded a contract to develop an amusement park that will generate $100,000 in monthly revenue for Amusementland Parks Inc. and authorization is hereby given to develop a plan that will accomplish this goal as quickly as possible, with an initial budget of $1,000,000.

Approach

We are in the process of formulating a team to tackle this high visibility project and have named Mr. Biggs as the Project Sponsor. Mr Biggs will formulate a team comprised of experienced project managers who are expected to operate collectively as a team with equal input shared by each team member. Teams are expected to resolve issues at the lowest level and determine how to operate at maximum efficiency.
